Each of the children reflected on their Interest Led Projects, their experiences and learning journey:
What were they most proud of?
What did they find most challenging?
A mistake they learnt from?
What they would do differently next time?
They then shared their learning with each other, this enables us to learn from each others successes and remember that often what we struggle with is also someone else's struggle too. We are not alone and can learn from each others creative ideas and solutions.
They also reviewed the goals they had set themselves 3 weeks ago and set themselves a new goal. They chose their goal, visualise achieving it and think about what they need in place to accomplish it. Do ask your children about their goals and if they need any support from you.
We celebrated looking at photos of the term so far and choosing our favourites and sharing them with the group. The children shared a word to sum up the term after enjoying a slide show: We had Awesome, Magical, Triumphant, Outstanding, Fun, Joyful, Connection, Wildlife...
We finished our half term foraging and cooking Nettle Soup, bread sticks and nettle tea around the fire. A huge thank you to Jen who has volunteered two days of forest school activities with the children this term. We have lots to celebrate at the Green House and hope you all enjoy a restful and fun half term holiday.
